i'm teaching a class and have ~70 kids who have all [i]successfully[/i] installed Python (2.7) , Eclipse (Helios), and PyDev (1.6.3), following [url=http://cogs18.edurik.org/sylabus2/resources/installation-of-python-eclipse- pydev-environment]my instructions[/url]. but exactly [i]one[/i] student on a Windoz7 platform gets it all in place, gets the PyDev plugin installed, restarts, ... but then has [i]none[/i] of the PyDev functionality?! eg, File > New > does not provide Python alternatives; PyDev preferences are not in among the other preferences...
