You miss my point. What you just gave me is a dump of topic names. If
I just want to browse existing projects, I have to wade through all
the QA. If I want to share helpful information without prompting, it
is unlikely that anyone will just browse the group history to find
that sort of thing given the extremely low guides-to-questions ratio.
The mere existence of categories makes it easier to find and share
information.

For example, if I write a guide about using pymunk with pyglet, where
do I put it? In the Pages section, mixed in with a few dozen abandoned
projects? In the mailing list, where no one will see it after the
first week or so? There is currently no good way to share that sort of
thing in a way that makes organizational sense. I would really like to
see a "Guides" page where I could just browse helpful information.
