Yes, it looks like I'm running a 1.2dev from late 2011. So I will try
a current version.
I have not been memorizing everything in the mailing list recently
(like the new project location at bitbucket), so is it good enough to
follow the directions at the end of http://pyglet.org/download.html,
which have me download pyglet-tip.zip from
http://pyglet.googlecode.com/archive/tip.zip ? Or if you remind me
again of the bitbucket project name, I can get it from there instead.

Try this https://bitbucket.org/pyglet/pyglet
The googlecode code is much more recent than what you have but I don't
think anyone's been keeping it in sync with the current updates.
I have updated the docs and README now so hopefully Richard will update
the website soon.
