Not sure what the status of the code review is but I wanted to give this a try. Let's take a look at how a code review via Google Code would work.
I have added the original seqdb.py file to the Google Code svn and commited it. Then I made changes to this file in my git repository (ran the tests etc). Finally I copied it over to svn and commited it again. You can now see it here: http://code.google.com/p/pygr/source/browse/code-reviews/seqdb-review/seqdb.py?r=127 Clicking the diff button will take you to the diff between the two versions. I have added a series of comments on what I've changed and why. You can add you own comments in either pane. The way I imagine this to work is to have other parties either comment on it until the final version gets iterated to. The main wart is that to actually run this code within pygr you would need to update you local svn then manually copy the new file to your git (testing) branch. But as I said before I think this might be easier than having to manually upload/download patches to a website.
