Hello everyone, This was supposed to be a part of last meeting's minutes, however as I have misplaced the notes and won't be able to post the minutes till later this week, and this is important, I am posting a separate message.
For everyone who didn't attend the last meeting, we have decided upon general time frame of releasing an alpha version of Pygr-0.8 - which will for practical purposes will essentially declare a feature freeze on that version: the freeze is to take place as soon as we have reviewed Chris's "metabase" refactoring of pygr.Data. This is expected to happen within the next 2-3 weeks. NO ENHANCEMENTS TO PYGR WILL BE ACCEPTED between the alpha and the official 0.8 release! To sum things up: - if you're working on developing an enhancement to Pygr which you would like to have incorporated into 0.8, make sure it your work is done (note that this includes both development and review) in 2 weeks; - if you aren't doing anything of the sort or your enhancement wouldn't be ready in time, your help having a look at "metabase" code will be greatly appreciated; - if you feel you cannot handle the above, please try verifying any unclosed issues on the tracker - this will greatly facilitate the next step, i.e. going from alpha to beta stage.
