Hi everyone, I am interested to work on the alignment project (issue #11 on the tracker) which states specifically "#11. interface with other alignment programs like CLUSTAL, etc. Right now, the only external "alignment" program we interface to is blastall. It would be nice to provide multiple alignment services in? a convenient pygr framework".
I would like solicit suggestions for what programs to incorporate. In addition, I am looking for a mentor to work on this. Anyone who will be willing to mentor me please let me know as soon as possible.
