Yes, Marek and I came to the same conclusion that there should be two types of blast tests: 1. to exercise the invocation of blastall by seeing that a reasonable set of results come back without checking for the exact details, which can be different for different blast versions; 2. to run the parser on canned blast output files and ensure that the results match exactly with expectations.
