Hi Marek, good idea. One issue for the agenda: 0.8 vs. 0.7 compatibility issues. For example, AnnotationDB got moved to its own module (annotation.py) in 0.8. That means 0.7 will not be able to unpickle AnnotationDB objects stored by 0.8... The only way to fix that would be to issue a minor update for 0.7. Conversely, 0.8 will be unable to unpickle 0.7 AnnotationDB objects unless we explicitly add the right class names back to seqdb.py...
