Hi Marek, another couple items for the dev meeting today: - some time back Istvan or Titus raised the idea of making our warning / error messages more concise, by giving each one a unique error name / code, and having the error message give a URL (based on that code) for looking up a page with full details. This could be a page on the Wiki. Perhaps this should be made part of the 0.8 release process.
- we're falling into a pattern of people posting vague problem reports to the dev group without the details required for a true bug report (i.e. steps to reproduce the problem, including any files required to reproduce it). I think our 0.8 release plan should address this, by outlining under what conditions we tell people to file a bug report in the issue tracker, and providing them with clear guidelines for filing a useful bug report. -- Chris --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pygr-dev" group.
