I don't have a definitive answer on this (I haven't tried it), but my understanding from talking with the Netezza folks was that ODBC was the only way to do this. In addition, they have made some optimizations with the ODBC driver to do bulk loads faster, as inserts to netezza are VERY slow. If you find out otherwise, PLEASE let me know.
