Would it help you if I upload the files as easy_installable Python eggs
to PyPI?
It sure will, especially if you can provide some instructions, how to set it up.
I am much more proficient in the database development than in Python, but I am 
learning.

I think it creates .pyc and .pyo files which are pretty much the same
but have some minor optimizations. The .pyo come into play when you call
python with the -O switch.

You are right. I found it when I ran dir under command line.
