No, they are normally compiled automatically when imported.
There may be only a problem if you do the import with a user account who
does not have access right on the site-packages directory. But even if
in this case it's not a real problem. It will just load a bit slower
because it cannot read the precompiled file. To be sure, you can do
"import pg, pgdb" as Admin after installation, or use py_compile.
