Hello,

I have just released pygtk-0.5.9 (which will work with gtk+-1.1.9), and
gnome-python-0.90

Gnome-python-0.90 should work with gtk+-1.1.9 and the gnome-libs-0.90
package that was recently released (or the GNOME_STABLE branch from CVS).

Both are available at ftp://ftp.daa.com.au/pub/james/python/, and pygtk
will be available at ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/python/ shortly, and
gnome-python may be available on ftp.gnome.org shortly.

Note that you don't have to patch automake to use these packages, since
the Makefile.am's have already been parsed (you don't even need autoconf
for that matter).

If you find any bugs in this release (or bugs you have already told me
about, but I have forgotten to fix), please tell me. I hope to have a
good, working version of gnome-python ready for the gnome 1.0 release.

James Henstridge.
