[pygtk] beginner using GtkList widget

Hello, i'm beginning with python and gtk and i've got problems using
GtkList
especially when retriving datas.
Where can i found examples or tutorial on this ?
the examples on the pygtk package add an remove items, but there's
nothing about how to retrive, for example,
the label of the selected GtkListItem.
