There is the libglade alternative, which IMHO is much superior to code
generation; if you must use code generation, there is the alternative of
using gladepyc, which is OO. I haven't used it, since libglade rocks so
much, but you can try at http://www.fcoutant.freesurf.fr/gladepyc.html
