The matplotlib gtk backend now has a couple of occasions to use the pixel arrays of gtk.gdk.Pixbuf, but this requires Numeric support. I I notice this is not the case with pygtk-2.0.0 (haven't tested pygtk-2.2).
Cedric, would it be possible in future pygtk win32 builds to include Numeric support?
I quickly built pygtk-2.2 against the latest Numeric (23.1). Could somebody test it ? If everything is fine, I will enable Numeric support by default in the following releases.
