My glib bug report has been closed. I expected this answer.
Anyway, I uploaded new pygtk-2.4 binaries on my site, with my patch included. I will also try to contact a pygtk maintainer to have it applied to CVS head. Hopefully, we will have that fixed for pygtk-2.6.
