Also a good point. Two things: 1) PyInstaller isn't saving exactly. It's gathering up and converting. Very similar to creating an archive. 2) There's some interesting discussions on the net about changing the save icon from a floppy to something else. Here's one: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1019573/save-icon-still-a-floppy-disk which points to http://twitpic.com/2ims19 which I quite like. However, most argue to keep the floppy as an iconic icon even if the technology is no longer relevant, and they're good arguments.
