I have committed the icons to trunk, replacing the previous butterfly
ones. Also, I attached SVG, ico, icns and PNG versions to
http://www.pyinstaller.org/wiki/PyInstallerLogos

they are really nice. Especially I like the black color as difference
between windowed and console apps.
I think you could go ahead and commit them to svn so they could be used.
Is there anyone with other suggestion with default icon for pyinstaller
binaries on windows?
Is it possible to use also icons for mac? We could use the same icon for
mac bundles if possible.
