I see the questions in the FAQ about using pyinstaller for a commercial, closed source, python application (with the answer that it is fine, as long as you don't modify the bootloader).

I have another question on this topic.

Is any kind of attribution or reproduction of copyright message (like in the BSD license) required to go alongside/inside the pyinstalled package and/or documentation?

And as the pyinstalled package also includes bits of python, are there any requirements as a consequence of this? Do I need to include anything from here: http://docs.python.org/license.html ? Is a pyinstaller-created package a "derivative work"?

I am interested both in what are the minimum requirements, and what is good practice.

I'm asking here as I'm assuming that there will be many on this list that have already used pyinstaller for commercial software.

Thanks in advance,
Hywel.
