well it wasn't. > http://code.google.com/p/pyjamas/issues/detail?id=600&q=picasaweb > > says 'OK' for chrome but I run the example, enter 'yangofzeal' and > click 'Go' and nothing happens. I'm running on Chrome on Mac and > accessing from http://localhost:8000/picasaweb/output/PicasaWeb.html do a git pull and try again. i decided i would try to get this working under pyjd, using that "hidden iframe to execute javascript and get the results back" technique that i came up with over a year ago. absolutely amazingly, it _actually_ works. i'm slightly blown away by that, because it finally means that things like the asteroids example which doesn't have sound under pyjd because it was impossible to interact properly with the flash plugin that someone found, and that FlashPanel class that was contributed 2 years ago which would never work right because you could never pass parameters to it, nor receive the results back, can also now use the same trick. l.
