yes. i call this the mozilla foundation "javascript, javascript, javascript" mantra. the problem with active mantras is that you get the results that are desired. the other mantra i hear from them is the "speed, speed, speed" mantra. they're paranoid about losing out to webkit - so paranoid it's actually scarey. i mean i can understand it: they just don't have any experience - successful experience - of dealing with any other programming language, because the technological barrier to entry is so high that they couldn't spare the resources. it's only a complete fluke that hulahop actually existed out of incremental development in the first place! l.
