The method of using pythonwebkit (http://www.gnu.org/software/pythonwebkit/) works with my current gentoo setup. Therefore, I hope it will not take too much work to get the bindings that Anthony was referring to, to build on gentoo, once they build on arch linux, debian, etc. I cannot tell if pyjamas desktop was ever in the main gentoo portage tree or no. At the present, it appears to me that if pyjamas desktop was, it has since been removed due to issues with the pyjamas git url and other things (the information I have found so far is very sparse). However, for pythonwebkit using gtk, all of the dependencies are easy to install using portage (if I recall correctly, emerging libsoup and gst-plugins-base installs almost all of the dependencies). What I don't know is how much intersection there is between gtk and wx on gentoo.
