Jose, I've come up against this problem my solution (although not yet implemented) is to re-write the config/routing.py module to dynamically accept new routes from an ini or xml file (using a monitor thread that loads the new routes into the map object) Since controllers are only called when a valid url points to them, once the new route has been added, the new controller should be called without the need to restart the service.
