The first part (creating the configuration) was documented but not the second (setting up ConfigMiddleware). Does anyone object to that? That sounds like a good safety measure, and would also free up Pylons to make API changes without breaking existing sites. Quixote maintains both a changelog and an UPGRADING document, which tells how applications should (or can) change with each framework version.
