I think a simple "abstract" electricity pylon could work well. It should be simple to create in a vector graphic (no point doing it if you aren't going to make it a vector graphic), it would work well in a single colour (for t-shirts, &c.), would be easy to scale, would be easy to incorporate into various shape holes (ie, a vertical with name below, or horizontal with name to the side, or square with the name on the bottom, or whatever), would be easy to recognise (and not require an object-by-object explanation), would stand the test of time better, and would more easily allow for evolutionary changes than something that involves multiple objects.
