i did that because no-one answered and i realized the old topic wasn't appropriate, so i changed it. not wanting to spam here. i do not understand what you mean with 'user error', though---probably an error on my side? ok, winHTTrack is easy to misuse, given the plethora of possible settings. but a web browser? mh. should changed that subject again. i am pretty sure i did not misconfigure my browser.
