Turbogears is not great on documentation of widgets but it's a not better than starting from scratch. Things like date picker and tinyMCE are not things I really want to recreate. Everytime someone writes a doc, it seems they are already super-users so they jump right into creating a custom widget. Too advanced if you don't know what magic is behind a basic widget.
