This has been recognized by the Pylons developers from the outset. However, we decided to go with Confluence because we urgently needed to update the docs for 0.9.6, and we didn't have time to write our own full-featured wiki. Many projects have fizzled over the distraction of building a perfect website and documentation infrastructure using only native technologies. Confluence offers several features not present in MoinMoin, enabling us to host wikis for related projects (Toscawdgets, Routes), and to position it as a potential general repository for Python-web documentation. We hope to eventually replace Confluence with a Pylons application, but that has lower priority than finishing Pylons 0.9.7 and 1.0, keeping the docs up to date, redesigning the Pylons website, writing Pylons components, and general marketing and user support. Work on the website design and logo/graphics have been proceeding in fits and starts. If you'd like to contribute, some background information is at: http://wiki.pylonshq.com/display/pylonscommunity/Home (See the hierarchy of links above the "Children" header) However, some of the later discussion is only in the mailing list archives. We have hired a graphic designer who has done some logo/theme work, but haven't yet had time to organize the pieces and make decisions. I expect that will start happening in the next couple months. So I'd suggest focusing now on more structural issues rather than on specific graphics or colors. -- Mike Orr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pylons-discuss" group.
