Note that if I force the issue at the end of the controller:
return formencode.htmlfill.render(render('/detail.mako'),
errors=c.form_errors)
I get the errors I expect -- so it seems htmlfill is working properly
-- perhaps the decorator is broken? I'm using 0.9.6.1
