I am the primary author of repoze.who. I'm currently using it in customer projects. There are currently four contributors to it, including myself.
As with any project, it's difficult to know where it will end up, but I think we're off to a pretty good start, as repoze.who ships with a good number of plugins, a few third-party plugins have already been written by various folks. and writing plugins for repoze.who is actually documented. Plugins that ship as part of repoze.who: http://svn.repoze.org/repoze.who/trunk/repoze/who/plugins/ Example plugins for TG2: http://svn.repoze.org/tg2whoplugins/trunk/ Radius Plugin for repoze.who (contributed by Chris Shenton): http://svn.repoze.org/whoplugins/whoradius/trunk/ Writing plugins: http://svn.repoze.org/repoze.who/trunk/README.txt ("Writing a {Identifier|Authenticator|Challenger|MetadataProvider} Plugin"). FTR, I'm currently communicating with various TurboGears 2 folks about repoze.who; they are considering making some of their "Authority" authentication/authorization code rely on it. That's why the tg2 sample plugins exist. Its current state is completely functional, although it lacks a configuration file format and parser (maybe one isn't needed, it'd just be nice). I intend to work more on the documentation, although it's not completely terrible now. I'd encourage anybody who is interested in using it but needs help doing so to join to send mail to the repoze-dev maillist (http:// lists.repoze.org/listinfo/repoze-dev) or just jump on irc.freenode.net and give a shout in #repoze. - C On Mar 28, 2:42 am, Dalius Dobravolskas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Ian Bicking wrote: > > It's still quite young, but worth checking out: > >http://svn.repoze.org/repoze.who/trunk/ > > How many people are working on it?
