Hi all, I'm very pleased to announce that the first draft of the Pylons book is now complete. It has taken quite a long time to get to this stage but we're now hoping to be able to complete the second drafts, remaining technical reviews and final copy edits fairly quickly.
WE NEED YOUR HELP THOUGH! There have been a lot of changes to Pylons since the first chapters were written but the finished book is going to target Pylons 0.9.7. Rather than try to get everything perfect and completely finished before sharing the chapters we thought it would be a good idea to ask for your feedback early on so it can be incorporated into the second draft of the chapters. There is going to be a copyedit phase too so typos and spelling mistakes will get picked up as part of the process. The chapters are now online at the new Pylons book site at: http://pylonsbook.com/ There is also an email address where you can send feedback. It is: feedback at pylonsbook.com We'd be very grateful for any thoughts or feedback you might have. The plan now is for me to work through the book chapter by chapter updating all the information for the second drafts. We have a fairly tight schedule and so I hope to have the whole of the first part of the book updated by the end of next week. If you could send me any comments before then it would be really appreciated.
