 I tend to agree.  I always set strict_c, and though I haven't used
c.action I do sometimes use routing variables (c.id) in validators.  I
haven't seen anybody complain that these auto-assigned variables have
messed up any application, so why drop the feature?  People have
sometimes needed to know the controller or action name in templates.
