thats really interesting because you don't need admin rights to run it 
on linux, at least not from the command line

I'm not entirely sure this is a pylons thing but rather a Vista thing 
requiring admin rights where others don't.  I don't think you need admin 
rights on OSX (someone with a Mac please correct me) and unless you want 
to set it up as a daemon running under init you don't need admin rights 
on linux.
