Rum doesn't replace toscawidgets, it provides an admin app framework to use them in. I think it depends on your priorities, ToscaWidgets are great if: - you want a lot of encapsulated functionality in one abstract object - you value lots of features and control over simplicity of code ( they aren't as simple to understand as some other form building solutions ) - you don't mind unpolished docs and having to ask some questions on mailing lists If you don't have the time to spend getting up on how they work, you'll probably get frustrated. If you do, they're really handy and well supported across various frameworks, and make the process of form creation, validation, and integration with your admin layer very quick. my two cents Iain --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pylons-discuss" group.
