We recently switched to Pylons to develop enterprise-class web
applications. We have a hosted web server that we'd like to deploy
Pylons applications to. The hosting company runs cPanel, a web
application that lets its customers configure various aspects of their
accounts.

Whenever a configuration changes takes place via cPanel, it rewrites
the Apache configuration file (httpd.conf) with a new version. Any
customization to Apache are lost. Plus, it's rejecting proxy commands
in the virtual host.

This seem like a mountain to climb. Do other have such difficulty
deploying a Pylons application? Am I missing something basic?

Thanks.
Edgar
