I'll be attending EuroPython in Birmingham next week as well as some
of the sprints that will follow. I'm sure quite a few Pylons
developers will be there, and they would probably jump at the chance
to get involved. Perhaps now would be a good time to do some
sprinting, get new developers involved (such as myself), write docs,
etc.

Will any core developers be there, and would they be interested in
leading such an effort?
