The development version of WebHelpers has removed the buggy properties, so you should be able to use that. Any version between ba1b5706ea62 (12/16) and c207cd1ccb1d (12/3) is OK to use; it's after the reversion and before the feedgenerator upgrade (which has not been checked in yet but may be by the time you read this).
