Okay, dokey, I'll give it a spin and confirm back that it does.
Also, FWIW, I totally endorse the idea of using Shabti as a place to
carry work that pursues what might charitably be termed a
"contentious" approach.
I think I understand what Vladimir is after - but I think his use case
comes from a relatively restricted, perhaps not unimportant, area and
what he's doing is a kind of optimisation for the circumstances.
I suspect that there /is/ a category of app that requires full-on,
direct, largely unsupported editing of grid-based data but I think we
agree; that degree of optimisation isn't really appropriate for
integrating into the FA package.
Given that the solution sorta orients around a specialised Pylons
controller, I reckon Shabti is the right place to carry such
venturesome efforts and Shabti actually might be fulfilling a useful
role in that respect :-)
