It looks like the tag helpers should be updated for HTML 5. There's a bug report to add the new input field types to the text() helper. I'm looking to see whether it would make more sense to make individual helpers for all of them, or whether their number will just keep increasing. That raises the issue of, what other helpers would be useful for HTML 5. Does anybody who uses HTML 5 want to make a recommendation?
