While the pyfacebook library has a lot of faults, poor documentation,
etc., it is still better than having to meld a system together using
php + pylons just to handle applications.

There are two aspects of Facebook integration that I'm interested in.
Using FBConnect (Facebook's OpenID) to allow a user to log into an
external site using their Facebook ID.  While Velruse handles the
authentication part, I never delved into it deep enough to integrate
it with an a&a system on Pylons.  The other aspect is the IFrame
Canvas app with the Graph API.  There are half a dozen other
configurations, but, having something that works cleanly -- even to
the point of integrating the Javascript SDK for some of the features
to make the app appear to be more facebook-like and less external is
interesting.

I don't have time right now to look at it, but, I'll pass some of my
notes over to you for some caveats I've run into.
