Brian, I'm very interested in this and might be able to help out in a year or two. But to be clear about the stage I'm at currently, I'm involved in a project that is more of a special case and is pursuing its own restricted semantic toolkit built on a sqlalchemy setup that is in some case triple-based but not throughout. It's quite likely that this experience will be exactly the background mileage that leads me to want to pursue the more general toolset that you are proposing. But I have to see it through first (not least because it's my job and it's coming along all right thus far). Anyway, just wanted to sound a note of interest before this falls off the first discussion group page. I have read with great interest various stages in the development of freebase/metaweb before and after Google took an interest in them, and am definitely looking forward to more involvement in semantic tools over the long run. Thanks for projecting your outlook.
