Finally, I am moving an application from pylons to pyramid. This is an
opportunity to change platform from windows XP to linux.
This offers me an opportunity to review my pyramid development

I am using VM workstation 8. I am relieved to be using unix but am
unsure about which linux, IDE, editors.
Hi Clemens,
it doesn't matter what Linux distro, IDE or editors you will use.
In my startup we use VIM, gedit, komodo, on Fedora Linux, on Ubuntu
Linux, on Debian Linux, on Mac OS X. (No. Windows is not a choice :P)
My 2c: try it to find your best suitable tool, the editor or distro that
fits your needs.
About Python enviroment, to simplify application development and
testing., I suggest you "virtualenv" and "virtualenv wrapper".
