I learned on a much earlier edition of this book: http://www.amazon.com/Python-Essential-Reference-4th-Edition/dp/0672329786/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334662972&sr=8-1
I really like the terse, no-nonsense, here's how it works style of this book--great for people who already know how to program. It does seem to be slightly behind the curve, so there may be a few new features that aren't covered, but that probably won't detract from its usefulness as a good jumpstarter into Python. I don't know if there is a 5th edition in the works or not. Chris -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pylons-discuss" group.
