Join the 17th edition of Plone Conference in the amazing
Ferrara, Italy, and gain an unparalleled opportunity to discover
insights from the inspiring keynote speakers, trainers, and
exchange experiences with designers and developers from all over
the world.
We are building for you a great gathering of the global Plone
Community with many networking and growth opportunities. Be a
part of the discussion surrounding the latest trends and success
stories in Digital Experience Innovation about Plone, Volto,
Guillotina, Pyramid, Python and the most celebrated frontend frameworks.
What does PloneConf have to do with the Pylons Project?
-------------------------------------------------------
- PloneConf is one of the few conferences focused on web
application development in Python.
- Plone and Pyramid share common origins in Python, Zope, ZODB,
and traversal.
- Developers from both Plone and Pylons Project communities are
innovative, especially in the separation of front and back
ends. The Plone community created Volto[1] a React-based
frontend, Pastanaga[2] a UI/UX framework, Guillotina[3] an
asyncio server, and plone.restapi[4] a RESTful API to the Plone
content management system. Pyramid is great for creating REST
APIs, allowing you to use whatever you like for your JavaScript
front end. pyramid_openapi3[5] helps you keep your API
documentation current, and validates your API requests and
responses, as well as a Swagger try-it-out documentation and server.

And that's just scratching the surface. Seriously, you should
attend. I hope you will join us in beautiful Ferrara, Italy!
