Debian has stabilized on gcc/gcj 4.1.1 for the upcoming release codenamed "etch". What are the prospects of PyLucene 2.0 working happily there?
In only vaguely related news, I'm also happy to report that The Mail Archive (mail-archive.com) is now using PyLucene. Deployment was fairly painless using the existing version 1.9 Debian packages.
