Debian has stabilized on gcc/gcj 4.1.1 for the upcoming release codenamed "etch". What are the prospects of PyLucene 2.0 working happily there?
Try it. If 'make test' succeeds then it looks good. Last I tried gcj 4.x on Ubuntu, some tests failed. I reverted to gcj 3.4.6.
In only vaguely related news, I'm also happy to report that The Mail Archive (mail-archive.com) is now using PyLucene. Deployment was fairly painless using the existing version 1.9 Debian packages. I don't really know, but suspect this may be one of the larger PyLucene deployments in terms of total document count. http://www.mail-archive.com/pylucene-dev%40osafoundation.org
Nice ! How many documents ? Andi.. _______________________________________________ pylucene-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osafoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/pylucene-dev
