I followed your previous instructions but I am having problems seeing stereo views. I see the blue line at the bottom of the screen, my emitter's lcd briefly turns on then turns off when PyMol starts up, and I can see a double image in the quadbuffer mode but I don't see the 3d projection.
Here is my system information:
Stereographics emitter and Crystaleyes
ATY Rage 128 Pro
Mac OS 10X
Power Mac G4 (version 2.9)
Early 450Mhz dual processor

Any suggestions for me?

Tyler,

To get stereo on the Mac, you need the following:

(1) CRT monitor (LCD will not work)
(2) StereoGraphics blue-line HD15 pass-through adapter, hooked up to the
monitor cable you're using.
(3) StereoGraphics Emitter
(4) StereoGraphics Glasses (or NuVision glasses)
(5) PyMOL 0.88 installed from http://pymol.sf.net

If you have all these, click on the Stereo folder in the PyMOL
directory, and select "Stereo Molecule". You should see a stereo
molecule in front of you.

You should also see a blue line along the bottom of the screen. If this
is not present, stereo will not work.

Cheers,
Warren

Subject: [PyMOL] Stereo introduction?

I am trying to use the Crystal Eyes stereo glasses with PyMol and I am
having trouble figuring out how to accomplish this. I read some posts
earlier of people that have succeeded in doing this and I was hoping
someone could post an introduction or tutorial to help me get started.
Thank you for any help. I am running Mac OS X 10.2 and have
StereoGraphics Crystal Eyes glasses.
