Hi
I just started to look into 1.2 since there seem to be so many new features I
would like to try out. I compare the precompiled PyMOL 1.0r0 and 1.2r2 on linux
(and 1.1r1 on windows).
When introducing new features please have them "off" by default, even tough it
can mean that many users never find them :-(, but it will help many others like
myself relying on PyMOL scripts. I thought scripts were to be more compatible
with future PyMOL's compared to session files.

One example, map_auto_expand_sym very handy and nice to have but it breaks some
of my (, admittedly, poorly written) scripts.

Also something has happened to the mesh_width, it is about twice as thick on
the screen on 1.2r2 and 1.0r0 (or 1.1r1 on windows), using same mesh_width,
1.0. This makes it ugly for larger maps and again a need to make changes in
scripts or in local .pymolrc files.
