Hi Sean,

Unfortunately colors are hardcoded in the CGO lists and can not be
changed dynamically. The solution is to wrap the CGO object in a class
with a draw/redraw method. But that requires a bit of programming. I
have something that is aimed at handling triangulated shapes, which I
can send you if you're interested.

But I've also been longing to see more flexible non-molecular shapes
in Pymol for quite a while. Actually, I'm dreaming of having Blender
or so incorporated :p
